In a remarkable display of talent and determination, the Ada High School girls golf team claimed the runner-up position at the Class 5A East Regional Tournament held at the challenging Oak Hills Golf & Country Club. Led by the impressive performance of freshman Liberty Bridgeman, the Lady Cougars showcased their skills despite the difficult weather conditions.
Duncan High School emerged victorious, securing the regional title with a solid team score of 348. While the Lady Cougars fought hard, they finished with a score of 361, falling just short of the championship. Lawton McArthur took third place with a team score of 373, highlighting the competitive nature of the tournament.
